Vampire Movies

For years and years there have been a lot of vampire movies and I mean " A LOT". So what I am going to do is to put up lists of vampire movies. As much as I can find so it will be easier for all of you to go and check out the movie of your choice. Besides that, I have a terrible confession which is I did not actually watch all the movies that I have listed, (I don't really have much time to watch movies nowadays)...but I can say I watch half of the movie's I listed. Jonathan and Lucy live in Wismar and the Count also wants a house there. Varna is a port on the Black Sea, close to Dracula's castle.

Directed by Tony Scott, 1983.
Starring Susan Sarandon, Catherine Deveuve, David Bowie.
The Egyptian vampire lady Miriam subsists upon the blood of her lovers. In return the guys or girls don't age, until Miriam has enough of them. Unfortunately that's currently the case with John, so his life expectancy is below 24 hours. Desperately he seeks help from the famous Dr. Sarah Roberts. She doesn't really believe his story, but she becomes curious and contacts Miriam. Soon then she got caught in her ban, too.

Suck
Directed by Rob Stefaniuk, 2009.
Starring Rob Stefaniuk, Jessica Paré, Paul Anthony, Mike Lobel, Chris Ratz.
A comedy centered on a rock 'n' roll band that will do anything to become famous, even though it meant becoming a vampire.

Vampire In Brooklyn
Directed by Wes Craven, 1995.
Starring Eddie Murphy, Angela Bassett.
Maximillian is the only survivor from a race of vampires on a Caribbean Island and as a vampire, he must find a mate to keep the line from ending. He knows that a child had been born to a woman who had a vampire father and he began his journey to Brooklyn in search for her.

The Lost Boys
Directed by Joel Schumacher, 1987.
Starring Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Dianne Wiest, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman.
After moving to a new town in California, two brothers (Micheal and Sam) are convinced that Santa Carla is filled by vampires.

Lost Boys: The Tribe
Directed by P.J. Pesce, 2008.
Starring Tad Hilgenbrink, Autumn Reeser, Corey Feldman.
The former surfer Chris Emerson and his sister Nicole Emerson move to Luna Bay expecting to initiate a new life without housing expenses with their Aunt Jillian. While in town, he meets his acquaintance and also former surfer Shane Powers who is a vampire that invites Chris for a surf parting at night.

Lost Boys: The Thirst
Directed by Dario Piana, 2010.
Starring Corey Feldman, Casey B. Dolan, Tanit Phoenix.
In San Cazador, California, the vampire hunter Edgar Frog is evicted from his trailer. But the best-seller writer Gwen Lieber offers him a job to destroy the head vampire DJ X that promotes worldwide raves to increase his army of undead. Gwen tells that her brother Peter disappeared in Ibiza two years ago in an X-Party promoted by the alpha-vampire. Edgar hunts down DJ X and discovers a discloses a secret about the head-vampire.

Blade
Directed by Stephen Norrington, 1998.
Starring Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Stephen Dorff, N'Bushe Wright.
A half-vampire and half-mortal man call Blade becomes a protector of the mortal race, while slaying evil vampires.

Blade II
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, 2002.
Starring Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Luke Goss, Leonor Varela.
Blade forms an uneasy alliance with the vampire council in order to combat the Reaper vampires who is another different breed of vampire from feed on other vampires and infecting them.

 
Blade: Trinity
Directed by David S. Goyer, 2004.
Starring Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Dominic Purcell, Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds.
In this third movie Blade is now a wanted man by the FBI. He must then join forces with the Nightstalkers to face his most challenging enemy yet: Dracula.

Interview With The Vampire
Directed by Neil Jordan, 1994.
Starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas, Kristen Dunst.
Based on the Anne Rice Chronicles, the movie is where a vampire tells his epic life story: love, betrayal, loneliness, and hunger.

Fright Night
Directed by Tom Holland, 1985.
Starring Roddy McDowall, Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse.
When a teenager learns that his new next door neighbor is a vampire, no one will believe him. And now his next door vampire neighbor is out to kill him at sunset. Charlie then seeks the help of an expert on killing vampires Peter Vincent.


Fright Night 2
Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, 1988.
Starring Roddy McDowall, Julie Carmen, William Ragsdale.
Charlie Brewster and Peter Vincent from the original Fright Night must face more vampires out for revenge.

Fright Night
Directed by Craig Gillespie, 2011.
Starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, David Tennant, Imogen Poots.
A teenager suspects that his new neighbor is a vampire. It's based on the original movie Fright Night 1985 except its more of a modern twist.

Bordello Of Blood
Directed by Gilbert Adler, 1996.
Starring John Kassir, Corey Feldman, Chris Sarandon.
The Cryptkeeper returns to tell the story of a funeral parlor that moonlights as a vampire bordello. Filled with beautiful vampire women alluring men and turning them into their meal.

Daybreakers
Directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig, 2009.
Starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill.
In the year 2019, a plague has transformed nearly every human into vampires. And humans are on the verge of extinction to make it worst they are running dry on blood supply. Meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert group of vampires in a way to save humankind.

Dracula
Directed by Patrick Lussier, 2000.
Starring Gerard Butler, Christopher Plummer, Jonny Lee Miller, Justine Waddell.
A group of thieves break into a chamber expecting to find paintings, but instead they release the count himself, who travels to New Orleans to find his nemesis' daughter, Mary Van Helsing.

Dracula: Dead And Loving It
Directed by Mel Brooks, 1995.
Starring Leslie Nielsen, Peter MacNicol, Steven Weber, Amy Yasbeck.
It's a parody from the novel Dracula. But it's worth watching. Leslie Nielson plays as the great count Dracula and in this movie Dracula is a klutz.

Directed by Phil Claydon, 2009.
Jimmy and Fletch went on an adventure after having life problems. On their adventure they discovered that the women of Norfolk are a pack of lesbian vampires thanks to an ancient curse.

Directed by J.S. Cardone, 2001.
A young man gets embroiled in a war against vampires.

Directed by Paul Weitz, 2009.
Darren Shan meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After a series of events Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire.
